Recipe for chorizo cookies
Ingredients
- 2 egg whites
- 1/2 fresh chorizo
- 20g parmesan cheese powder
- 25g flour
- salt
In 25 minutes you can make an appetizer you'll love. These chorizo cookies are an ideal snack.
How to prepare chorizo cookies:
Preheat the oven to 400ºF.
Start by beating the egg whites with a pinch of salt until they are firm. Then add the cheese powder and the flour through a sieve, and fold in very gently to ensure minimum air loss. Just enough to mix of ingredients.
Remove the skin from the chorizo and cut it into small pieces. Add it to the mixture and mix it again carefully.
In a baking dish lined with baking paper or a non-stick sheet add teaspoons of the mixture leaving a good gap between them.
Bake at 400ºF for about 12-15 minutes, until they begin to brown. Leave them to cool and remove the tray.
Presentation:
Serve the chorizo cookies cold accompanied by a beer or your favorite drink. Ideal to enjoy in good company, or simply with a good book or a good view...
