Homemade spicy Chorizo pizza

Ingredients

  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Palacios spicy or extra spicy Chorizo
  • Mozzarella
  • Oregano
  • For the base:
  • salt
  • 1 cayenne pepper
  • 7 fl oz of water
  • 16 oz of flour
  • tomato sauce

STEP BY STEP

Step 1: Heating the tomato sauce with the cayenne pepper.

Put the tomato sauce in a small pan. Add the cayenne pepper and leave it infuse to make the sauce a bit spicy. Leave to cool.

Step 2: Making the dough and rolling it out.

To make the dough, mix in a bowl 14 oz of flour, 7 fl oz of water, 2 tablespoons of oil and a pinch of salt. Knead well until you obtain homogeneous, compact dough. Roll the dough out very thinly and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.

Step 3: Assembling the pizza and baking.

Cover the surface of the dough with the spicy tomato sauce.

Cut the mozzarella and Chorizo into pieces and place them on top.

Bake the pizza.

Take it out of the oven and sprinkle with oregano.
